Easter Celebrations

Maybear and I had a busy day Saturday! After seeing Zach off to work we sat down and read the Easter story in her New Testament reader. It is kind of nice to just read the story when it is put so simply. Then we headed over to Grandmas. My mom and I made peanut butter eggs (mostly my mom made them and I watched). So tasty but they are so rich that you are sick after two bites. Then Maybear and I went to Zach's family Easter party without Zach :(. We missed the egg hunt but my nieces and nephews were so cute. Parker tried to give Maybear one of his eggs (she took it, put it in her mouth, and then threw it on the ground like everything else) and Kenzie and Teylor made a "baby egg hunt" in Kenzie's room just for Maybear. So funny. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse with Zach's mom and Keith very delicious.

Sunday we got a visit from the Easter Bunny!


My family came to church with us which was cool. I've decided that we should celebrate Easter every fast and testimony meeting. Probably one of the biggest things I need to work on is not being so anti testimony meeting. I just get bothered because people just get up there and talk about nothing. Somehow our wards fell on Easter this month and it was actually really good, people actually bore their testimony about the Savior (imagine that!). We went for a walk at the park in the afternoon.We spent the rest of the evening with my family, including a drive out to the new temple.

Maybear loves to pound on my parents piano so they bought her a grand piano for Easter. This is the fanciest baby piano you will ever see. As you can see she loves it.
